1 min – The first of many penalties conceded by the Pirates, this time for not rolling away in the tackle. Rory Clegg hits the target from 30 metres. Leeds 3 Pirates 0.

4 – The Pirates respond in devastating style with Pointer and Ashley Smith linking superbly down the right. Smith is halted by McColl's tackle but Paul Andrew squeezes over to score. Leeds 3 Pirates 5.

11 – Hallett misses a straightforward penalty.

13 – Hallett quickly makes amends seizing on a Phil Nilsen knock-on to score a try at the posts, which he then converts. Leeds 3 Pirates 12.
