Lib Dems win key seat at Norfolk by-election
The Liberal Democrats won a landslide council by-election at North Norfolk District in a boost before next week's key Eastleigh Commons contest. Candidate Andreas Yiasimi won at Cromer Town in a huge swing from the Tories, who were pushed into last place by Labour and the UK Independence Party (Ukip). The North Norfolk poll came after the death of former council leader Keith Johnson. He was reportedly suspected of killing his wife and then turning the gun on himself.
