DRIVERS approaching Helston from the Redruth direction may have to take things a bit more slowly in future.

Cornwall Council is considering reducing the speed limit of the main Redruth to Helston road from 40mph to 30mph when it enters Helston's boundaries.

The move, currently open for consultation, is being supported by Helston Town Council.
