Liskeard residents enjoy the Vintage Fayre
Hundreds of members of the Liskeard community grooved as they would in the swinging sixties at Liskeard Vintage Fayre.
On December 7 the Public Hall, in West Street was transformed with garlands, clementines and festive decorations for the vintage fayre that attracted over 500 people.
The event was organised by Liskeard Town Team and it aimed to attract people to the town and to encourage them to shop in Liskeard.
Events working group manager, Jo Hoskin said: “The fayre was a great success but the Town Team couldn't have done it without the wonderful volunteers Liskeard seems to have.”

Ms Hoskin made the decorations for the vintage fayre at Stuart House leading up to it with volunteers.
The event had over 20 stalls with vintage goods and included a vintage dress up photo booth, vintage clothes and furniture, games, postcards and books.
About 60 percent of those answering the Liskeard Town Team feedback questionnaire at the fayre said that they had visited shops in the town, as well as coming to the fayre.
In the questionnaire everyone said that they intend to shop in the town in the future.
A volunteer in the events working group, Pauline Hubner said: “There was a great, festive buzz about the place throughout.
“As a newcomer to Liskeard, having an event like this gave me the opportunity to get involved in a community event and feel at home as part of the town.
“Visitor numbers were up on last year so we built on the success of last year's event.”
