Lizard voters choose Conservative to take late Pam's seat at Cornwall Council
VOTERS near Helston have overwhelmingly chosen a Conservative as their newest councillor.
Walter Norman Sanger took more than twice as many votes as any other candidate in the by-election for the Cornwall Council seat representing St Keverne and Meneage, and more than 10 times as many as the Labour Party man. He is a former chairman of the defunct Kerrier District Council.
