'Log on to Ludgvan' as parish goes live
RESIDENTS and visitors are being encouraged to 'log on to Ludgvan' after the parish council launched its first website.
The internet pages are packed with information on the council, history of the area and the wider community.
Ludgvan councillor Peter Vaughan said the council was proud of the site, which also has details of council members, minutes from meetings and a list of current planning applications in the parish.
"All in all, therefore, an active website which contains a lot of useful information – plus, if you want a visual treat, go to banner heading 'visitors' and then the drop-down heading 'gallery'," he said.

"This brings up a selection of iconic photographs, all taken from within the parish."
The website also has space for three directories – business and commercial, community groups and health and education – which the council hopes will eventually provide a comprehensive guide.
The council is offering any local club, community group or business the opportunity to feature in this section of the site for free.
