Looe Tesco supermarket decision delayed
LOOE residents will have to wait to find out whether a Tesco store will be built in the town.
The planning application to build a store on land at Barbican Road, East Looe, was due to be decided by Cornwall Council's strategic planning committee today at County Hall, Truro.
But a decision was deferred after the county authority said more information was needed with regard to the housing scheme and its relationship with the nothern boundary of the site.
A Council representative said the developers are also providing more information about the proposed petrol station and jet wash, which is not included in the current description of the development.
