Lostwithiel Town Council seek new temporary councillor
Lostwithiel Town Council has announced that a temporary vacancy for a new councillor has arisen.
The vacancy follows the resignation of Mr Rupert Warwick and will run until May 2.
Applicants can be co-opted into the Council without the need for election up until the beginning of the May elections themselves.
Any person wishing to fill the vacancy should apply to the clerk in writing on or before January 29.The applicant's name must appear on the current register of voters list or the applicant should during the whole twelve months preceding the relevant date have resided in or within three miles of the town.

Alternatively the applicant's only place of work during the whole of the twelve months preceding the relevant date is in the town.
The applicant must also not be debarred from standing as a Councillor.
