MEP to give a public talk about agriculture
The UK Independence Party's agriculture and fisheries spokesman, Stuart Agnew MEP, will be in Taunton on Tuesday evening, to speak at a public meeting of Westcountry farmers.
The meeting, organised by UKIP Somerset, is being held at the Holiday Inn in Deane Gate Avenue, at 7.30pm and is open to the public.
Mr Agnew will be discussing UKIP's agriculture policies and will tackle such issues as reform of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy, crop rotation, bovine TB, and farming subsidies after leaving the EU. There will also be a question-and-answer session designed to give attendees plenty of opportunity to put their views to Mr Agnew.
