MP George Eustice opens Camborne Public Rooms
CAMBORNE, Redruth and Hayle MP George Eustice has officially opened the newly restored £3 million Camborne Public Rooms on behalf of Coastline Housing.
Formerly the Public Assembly Rooms, Camborne Public Rooms has been redeveloped into a supported housing scheme for older people, or those with disabilities.
The scheme is made up of 18 apartments, including two that have been specially adapted for wheelchair users.
Robert Nettleton, chief executive of Coastline Housing, said: "We are delighted that we have been able to regenerate such an important and historic building at the gateway to Camborne, and provide more people with affordable places to live in their local community."
