A NEW graphic design company based at Tresprison Business Park, Helston, has won the local MP's seal of approval.

Andrew George, whose family comes from Mullion and who is MP for the St Ives constituency, which includes Helston and the Lizard, said Ki Design – run by young, locally-trained people – is the sort of business which would lead Cornwall out of recession.

The company promotes local businesses and initiatives such as the farmers' market for which it is developing a web proposal.

Fergus Muller and Rose Robinson established Ki Design seven months ago and offer services including web design, branding and e-marketing.

Mr George met them at their business premises.
