Man arrested after fire at Sydney Road allotments, Torpoint
A man has been arrested following a suspected arson attack at an allotment in Torpoint.
A representative from Devon and Cornwall police said: "A 27-year-old man was arrested at 2.50 this morning following damage caused by fire at Sydney Road allotments."

The spokesman confirmed that three other sheds also had their windows smashed.
The man, who is local to the area, is currently in custody at Charles Cross Police Station in Plymouth.

At just before 2.55am fire crews were called to the allotment where they used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire.
