Man arrested and bailed over A30 horror crash
A 49-year-old man has been arrested and bailed by police over a head-on crash near Exeter Airport which left a woman in hospital with serious injuries.
The emergency services were called to the A30 at Clyst Honiton, near Exeter Airport, at 12.25am on October 21 after the collision between a silver Seat Altea and a silver Vauxhall Astra.

The 48-year-old woman, from Ottery St Mary, who was a passenger in the Seat, remains at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police yesterday said: "The condition of the woman who was seriously injured in this collision has improved a little and it is understood that she is expected to make a recovery, albeit slowly."

The spokesman confirmed that the 49-year-old driver of the Astra, who was also taken to hospital, had been arrested for providing a positive breath test.
He has been bailed until December 18.
Officers investigating the incident have appealed for witnesses to come forward by contacting the non emergency telephone number 101.
