"This was an excellent result in our current drive to target persons involved in the supply of controlled drugs. Newquay police will continue to take positive action against persons involved in the supply of controlled drugs."

Police executed the warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the business premises and said afterwards that plants recovered were at various stages of growth. Propagation equipment was also seized.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and questioned by officers from Newquay CID. He was bailed pending forensic analysis of the cannabis plants.
