Man arrested over £120,000 VAT fraud
A Westcountry businessman has been arrested on suspicion of VAT fraud estimated at £120,000, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs has said. Criminal investigators arrested the man, who was not named, at his home near Exeter on Friday.
