Man charged with breach of his bail
PENZANCE man Shane Jenkin, 31, of South Place Folly, appeared before Bodmin magistrates in custody on Christmas Eve charged with breaching his bail conditions by failing to observe a curfew.
Jenkin is on bail to Truro Crown Court in connection with an alleged domestic assault causing actual bodily harm said to have been committed on April 23.
He admitted that he had gone out into Penzance late on the night of December 23 in breach of the 8pm to 7am electronically monitored tag.
He was released on bail on the same conditions before – not to contact the alleged victim, not to go to Hayle, to live and sleep at South Place Folly and to observe the curfew.
