Man dead after crash on A39 near Perranar- worthal
A man has died after a crash on the main road between Truro and Falmouth.
The A39 remains closed in both directions after the crash this morning near Perranarworthal.
Two men were airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro following the incident at approximately 9.30am.
The crash involved a Mercedes Van which ended up on its side and a Ford Focus.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The driver of the Ford Focus has died. His next-of-kin are being informed.
"The male passenger has suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.
"The two occupants of the Mercedes van are relatively unharmed."
Police also reported substantial fuel spillage at the scene.
The crash took place on the dual-carriageway section of road between Treluswell and Perranarworthal.
Two fire appliances from Falmouth fire station and the rescue tender from Camborne fire station were called to the scene.
Police said the road would remain closed for some time to allow the removal of vehicles and to allow collision investigators to assess the scene.
Diversions are in place through Bissoe but traffic is understood to be very heavy in the area.
