Man given CPR after his vehicle collided with a wall in Crantock
A man has been taken to hospital after his car collided with a wall in Crantock, near Newquay.
Police arrived at the scene on West Pentire Road just after 4pm this afternoon to find paramedics carrying out CPR on the local man, in his forties.
Members of the public had also carried out CPR on the man before the emergency services arrived.
He was later taken by land ambulance to the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, in Truro for treatment.

Newquay police sergeant Regie Butler said: “We arrived on the scene and ambulance crews and paramedics were performing CPR.
“We assisted and the male was taken to Treliske.”
The man's condition is unknown at this time but it is suspected that he may have suffered a medical episode.
