Man in hospital after collision with taxi
A pedestrian was taken to hospital with "life-changing" injuries after a collision with a taxi in the early hours of yesterday in Exeter. The man was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with what have been described as "significant" leg injuries. The incident happened just after 2am at Fore Street outside the Co-op store. A police spokesman said: "His injuries are not life-threatening." The spokesman said the driver of the taxi had contacted police and will be spoken to by officers.
