Man killed in A30 collision at Trewint named as George Barker, 95, from Hampshire
The man who died in a collision between a car and a tractor on the A30 on Monday has been named as George Barker, 95, from Hampshire.
Mr Barker had been in a red coloured Skoda Fabia, driving towards Bodmin on the westbound carriageway at Trewint, when the incident took place at 5.05pm.
The driver of the tractor, from the St Mabyn area was taken to Derriford Hospital with minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to please contact them on 101 quoting ref. 584 02/12/13.
