Man rescued after being spotted clinging to a buoy below the Tamar Bridge
A man has been rescued after he was spotted hanging onto a buoy below the Tamar Bridge.Ministry of Defence Police launched a rescue operation yesterday after the man was seen clinging to the buoy at around 3.25pm, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said.The Plymouth RNLI Inshore Lifeboat and the Ministry of Defence Police Launch Excalibur were sent to the scene.Excalibur recovered the casualty, who was described as "cold and wet."He was then treated by paramedics after being brought ashore.
