A 20-YEAR-OLD man appeared before Bodmin magistrates in custody on Monday when he admitted failing to attend two probation appointments.
James Horton-Galloway had been handed a community order in May after pleading guilty to possession of a Stanley knife in a public place in Newquay in March.
Horton-Galloway, who gave a care of address at Meadow Rise, St Columb Major, had mental health issues, said Barry Hilliard, for the defence. The court accepted that he was therefore unable to comply with the order.
The magistrates resentenced him to an 18-month conditional discharge.
