Man robbed in early hours attack in park
A man was knocked out then robbed as he walked through a Westcountry park. The 24-year-old victim lost consciousness when he was hit on the back of the head at People's Park, in Tiverton, at around 1am on Saturday. When he came to, he found three men around him, one of whom was removing his wallet and tobacco from his pocket. The offenders made off with the victim's wallet which is distinctive and in the shape of Zippy's head, from TV show Rainbow. The wallet contained £65. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference KT/12/1427.
