Marazion pub hosts first Ickle Feste
IF words are your thing – Marazion is the place to be tomorrow and Friday.
The Godolphin Arms hosts the first Ickle Feste, a free and inclusive event created by local writer and poet Abigail Wyatt and her friend Jak Stringer.
From tomorrow, the pub is hosting two days of different events inspired by the spoken and written word – with plenty of music thrown in.
Marazion mayor Derek Laity will be opening the event at lunch time tomorrow when the literary theme will take the form of creative food menus, acoustic unplugged music and spoken word performance.

Among the highlights are performances of emerging Lostwithiel band Goodbye Joel, children’s readings by Abigail Wyatt and Sennen children’s author Janeta Hevizi and, tomorrow, from 7pm, a reading by Dr Alan Kent, one of Cornwall’s foremost literary figures.
There’s plenty on throughout both days – just pop in to the Godolphin at any time tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday.
