Mawnan Smith man outraged with BT over lost connection
A BT customer is furious after being left without phone and internet for up to 13 days.
Graham Marsden, who recently retired to Mawnan Smith, lost connection on January 7 and has been told by telecommunications giant that he may have to wait until January 20 for the problem to be rectified.
Mr Marsden said: "I'm appalled by the service meted out by BT. The loss of phone and broadband service is bad enough, let alone the 13-day delay in getting it fixed.
"The loss of phone and broadband service, especially in Mawnan Smith, where the mobile service is non-existent in most areas, means I'm paying £62 a month for nothing right now."

BT blamed the weather for the fault with Mr Marsden's line.
A spokesman said: "The recent exceptionally bad weather has meant we have higher fault levels than usual due to flooding, lightning damage and trees down on lines. Many faults have now been repaired, but inevitably some faults take longer to fix than others due to the complexity of the work. We are doing all we can to restore service for customers as quickly as possible."
