Merrymeet green
RESIDENTS in Merrymeet, near Liskeard, are being invited to attend the official opening of the village's new communal green this Saturday.
After receiving £50,000 of Lottery funding, the green has been landscaped, a new barbecue area has been built and a children's play area installed.
Locals are invited to attend the event which will start at 11am.
