Met office remove severe weather warning for Cornwall
THE Met Office has removed a severe weather warning for Cornwall this morning.
The yellow severe weather warning, telling people to be "aware", was issued on Wednesday and was due to remain in place until 8am this morning.
Yesterday's downpour saw localised flooding in several areas in Cornwall.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said from 6pm last night until 6am this morning up to 12.2mm of rain had landed in some parts of the far west.
