Millbrook B&B owner reveals 'to the Manor born' secret
A couple from Cornwall with a major secret have pitched their bed and breakfast business against others from across the UK in the Channel 4 television show.
Viewers will see Megan Edgcumbe and her partner Richard Stanley throw open the doors of the Manor Lodge Hotel, at Millbrook, and take turns staying with three other couples at their B&Bs – and pay what they consider fair for their stay – in the show Four in A Bed.
The couple, who also have the Mark of Friendship pub in the South East Cornwall village, have been running Manor Lodge for four years. They said they were keen to put the area on the tourist map.
Ms Edgcumbe, said: "Millbrook is the forgotten corner of Cornwall, and we applied to go on the programme to highlight this most beautiful location in the heart of Cornwall and on the doorstep of Plymouth.

Tonight's episode features a hotel in Liverpool. Millbrook stars tomorrow, followed by Somerset, and Suffolk, as the four pairs of B&B owners take it in turns as hosts, in a contest to decide which of their establishments provides the best value for money.
During tomorrow's 5pm programme, Ms Edgcumbe reveals she is actually Lady Edgcumbe. Her father Robert Edgcumbe became the eighth Earl of Edgcumbe in 1982.
Mr Stanley added: "We really enjoyed going on the programme, and it took two weeks to film and was absolutely brilliant.
"When the other couples came to Cornwall they travelled to the historic Edgcumbe estate where we reveal Megan's secret as Lady Edgcumbe."
