Mortuaries for sale
Two former mortuary buildings are generating substantial interest in the lead-up to the Westcountry Property Auctions February 20 sale. The Victorian detached buildings were part of the old Digby Hospital in Exeter. They have a guide price of £5,000 and £10,000. Neither building has planning consent.
Andrew Jarrold, auctioneer at Westcountry Property Auctions, comments: "These buildings are both extraordinary and unusual, so it is difficult to put a value on them. We have already received a lot of interest."
