A motorcyclist killed when his bike collided with a car and lorry on the A38 earlier this month has been named by Devon and Cornwall Police. Terry Bettison, from the Liskeard area, died at the scene of the collision near the Halfway House in the Glynn Valley on September 6. The 72-year-old had been riding his motorcycle towards Liskeard and collided with an HGV lorry and a car travelling in the opposite direction. A 37-year-old man from St Austell has since been arrested and released on police bail on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
