Motorcyclist killed in HGV crash in Carnon Downs

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Carnon Downs yesterday afternoon, police have confirmed. 

Fire crews, police and the ambulance service were called to the scene on Bissoe Road at 3.35pm on Saturday. 

The male rider was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Next of kin have been informed but police will not be releasing details of identity until formal identification procedures are completed.
