Motorist trapped in vehicle after collision on A30 near Hayle
Two drivers were treated for minor injuries after a collision near a notorious black spot on the main A30 in West Cornwall. A blue Renault Clio and a black Mini collided near Hayle. The incident occurred at around 3.15pm yesterday just before the Roseworthy Dip, a steep drop in the road close to Connor Downs. The fire service and an ambulance were called to the scene after one person was trapped in a vehicle. A police spokesman said: "Paramedics treated the casualties for minor injuries at the roadside – there were delays after the A30 near the Roseworthy Dip was closed."
