Mounts Bay Rotarians enjoy Burns Night dinner
MORE than 60 Mounts Bay Rotarians and friends gathered at The Union Hotel Penzance on Saturday to celebrate the 255th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns.
The Union Hotel chef prepared a traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties and threw in a nip of whisky for all the guests for good measure.
Entertainment included a traditional piper who piped in the guests to the historic Trafalgar Room and also the chef carrying the haggis.
Further entertainment included traditional songs and readings from Burns, all performed by Rotarians or guests.
