Mum's illness inspires George's fundraising charity ride
CARDINHAM teenager George Mustoe has begun a solo bike ride from Land's End to John o' Groats in the hope of raising £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
George, 19, left Land's End on Monday and hopes to reach the tip of Scotland within eight to ten days.
He was inspired to raise the funds after his mother, Tracy, was diagnosed with breast cancer last September.
George, who has raised £600 so far, said: "I am giving every penny to charity and camping along the way to keep costs down, so I will be carrying my tent."
