Musical show debut at HfC
REDRUTH Amateur Operatic Society Trust (RAOST) will perform its latest show The Sound of Musicals at the Hall for Cornwall on Friday and Saturday at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm. RAOST has produced many highly acclaimed shows, but never at this venue. The Sound of Musicals will be a feast of entertainment featuring excerpts from popular modern musicals including Mama Mia, Sister Act, The Producers, Spamalot, Miss Saigon and Thoroughly Modern Millie. There is a talented cast of 70 adults and children and the junior company will be performing excerpts from Bugsey Malone, Mary Poppins and Honk. They will join the adults to perform numbers from Footloose,We Will Rock You and The Lion King. Musical director Scott Watters brings his vast experience to ensure thrilling performances of a range of musical numbers from romantic solo ballads to rousing chorus numbers.
