A naked man was taken to hospital after being rescued by emergency services from a tree in freezing conditions yesterday morning. Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called to assist with the incident around 8am on Haldon Road, Exeter. A fire spokesman said: "We pitched a ladder to the tree but the male was refusing to come down." He came down the ladder himself an hour later. Police tweeted: "A naked male up a tree has come down safely with the help of DFRS and taken to hospital."
