New business facility opens with breakfast
BUSINESSES in North Cornwall came together last week to find out more about a new facility which has opened in Launceston.
The Business Space, managed by Cornwall College Business and based in Dunheved House, is a newly refurbished meeting and conference facility, which opened its doors to 40 local businesses at the Open for Business networking event.
Those attending enjoyed a breakfast prepared by Launceston College students and heard about new training and funding opportunities now available in North Cornwall.
Sue Gallant, technical manager at HR Jaspers & Son Ltd, and Nikki Truesdale, of Proper Cornish, also presented to the collective, providing a local business perspective on how training has made a hugely positive impact on their businesses.
