New dates for budget consultations
Three new venues have been added to a series of budget consultation events being held across Cornwall.
Cornwall Council has added meetings in Falmouth, St Ives and Liskeard to the 19 meetings already scheduled in September and October.
The council expects to see its budget cut by £196million by 2019, on top of £170million saved since 2010.
Consultation meetings have already been held across Cornwall, with each attended by between 15 and 60 people

Cabinet member for finance and resources Alex Folkes will attend every meeting.
He said: “We know that we have some very hard choices to make.
“The sheer scale of the reductions in our funding means that we won’t be able to continue to do everything in the same way.
“As a result, Cornwall Council will be very different in four years’ time and we want as many people as possible to help us shape our future direction”.
The meeting at Liskeard takes place at Liskeard Town Council on September 27 between 3pm and 4.30pm.
A further meeting takes place on October 8 at the Methodist Church, on Killigrew Street in Falmouth between 10am and 11.30am.
A meeting will be held the same day between 2pm and 3.30pm at the Guildhall in St Ives.
