New look for The Strand released by developers
IMAGES of a potential new look for The Strand in Newlyn have been released by the development company which led a consultation on proposals.
Ideas for the area that runs alongside the port's harbour include new offices, workshops, retail space and a museum.
The proposals were led by the Cornwall Development Company using money from the European Regional Development Fund.
Newlyn Harbour Commission chairman Gilbert McCabe said: "We have been supported by good work from a strong professional team including architects Poynton Bradbury Wynter Cole Ltd, transport experts Hyder Consulting and property cost advisers EC Harris.

The plans will be sent to Cornwall Council for approval as a material consideration in determining planning applications.
