Nick Perry to take on Truro Half Marathon in memory of his dad Noel
THE son of a West Briton reporter who tragically died earlier this year will take on the Truro Half Marathon in his dad’s name.
Nick Perry will race through the city on Sunday in memory of Noel Perry, one of the West Briton’s longest standing and best loved reporters - known affectionately as Mr Helston.
Nick will raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support who he says were helpful before Noel died lost a courageous battle against cancer and passed away at his home in June.
Nick said: “This is the first time I have run a half marathon. I am running with my good friend Nick Jewell.
