Nude photo shoot helped dying Redruth nan Annette Brunning gain new outlook
A TERMINALLY ILL grandmother has said posing for nude photographs has changed her outlook on life.
Annette Brunning, aged 52, was diagnosed with a rare cancer in her peritoneum in 2009 and was told she had between six weeks and six years to live.

While getting her family portraits done at photographer Shelley Tasker's studio in Camborne she found out about the artist's new therapy venture of transforming the self-image of breast cancer sufferers by capturing their beauty tastefully yet intimately.
"Having my photographs done in this way was something I have always wanted to do but never had the guts or courage, being a biggish person," Mrs Brunning, of Redruth, said.

"But when I saw other people's pictures on the studio wall it got me thinking I wanted something of me left behind."
The initial shots captured Mrs Brunning as a Greek goddess wearing just a white silky sheet wrapped around her body.
A few months later she was asked to take part in Ms Tasker's Christmas shoot and photographed wearing a pair of golden heels.
"I just found the days so liberating and joyful and they completely changed my outlook on life," she added.
"I knew I was dying so I decided to stop my chemotherapy because it was killing me. I knew that I wanted to die in my own way.
"I did not want to put myself through that pain and I wanted to live the rest of my life enjoying being alive.
"The photo shoot made me realise I was still full of life and that's what the photos show."
Mrs Brunning also said the photographs help her to deal with the difficult days when she feels down.
They allow her to forget the pain and make her giggle. She added: "They give you that something inside that's yours and personal, and if anybody else can be inspired to do it then I have done something good."
Ms Tasker has been running her Vision 4 Life photo therapy sessions since 2009 and worked with numerous breast cancer sufferers.
She was inspired by a friend suffering from the disease who sadly lost her battle before she had her photos taken.
"Since then I have been determined to make a difference to other women's lives and some of the people I have worked with have said it has changed their lives.
