PLANNING permission is being sought by the owners of a Falmouth-based business to use former Ministry of Defence accommodation at Penhale Camp as a finance office and home.

Julian Greet, owner of ship chandlery business Falcon Ltd, is buying Ligger House and seeking permission for light business and residential use.

The house was built by a mining captain and used as a counting house, then as a farmhouse until the Second World War, when it was taken over by the Army.
