Officials seize noise nuisance music system
Music equipment which was making neighbours' lives a misery has been seized from a Falmouth home.
Officers from Cornwall Council's public health and protection team, along with police, raided the house in Killigrew Street, last week and confiscated the equipment.
It followed the serving of a noise abatement notice on the occupier of the premises earlier this month which failed to deter him.
The equipment removed included a large television, surround sound system, stereo system and speakers.

"Excessive noise which affects neighbours and the local community amounts to anti social behaviour and will not be tolerated." said Geoff Brown, the council's cabinet member for communities.
