Ola Greek closes to make way for new steakhouse 'The Bull' in Truro
A Greek restaurant that shut its doors for the last time in Truro yesterday is to re-open next month as a new steak house.
Ola Greek on Calenick Street in Truro is now undergoing a total overhaul to transform it into The Bull, a carvery and steak house due to open on November 21.
Susan Aldemir who runs the restaurant, says the move is one to help attract more people to the venue. Speaking to West Briton today she said: “I am sure there’s not another carvery in Truro city centre so there’s a demand for it. We want to make the restaurant as accessible as possible.
“People can also drop in or order a steak in ounces to take away or have it cooked up right in front of them. Selling individual pieces of steak is also quite unique.

“The restaurant is undergoing refurbishment, but with Christmas booking and the footfall through the city centre, we hope to be open as soon as possible.”
Ola Greek was hailed as an authentic Greek experience. But Ms Aldemir says it is likely a carvery-style meal will fill a hole in Truro’s restaurant offering.
