Order breach denied
A 52-YEAR-OLD man formerly from the Looe area appeared before Bodmin magistrates on December 27 when he pleaded not guilty to breaching a suspended sentence order imposed in March for a domestic assault on his wife.
Paul Bartlett is charged with failing to keep in touch with his probation officer and failing to notify the probation service of his whereabouts on December 7.
Bartlett, who gave an address at Mill Street, Kidderminster, was bailed without conditions and the case was adjourned until January 23 for trial. He was given further time to pay £427 in court fines, costs, compensation and surcharge, due on January 2.
