TRANSITION Lostwithiel presents international film documentary Chasing Ice on Friday, March 22, at 7pm in the Church Rooms, Lostwithiel.

Chasing Iceis a stunning documentary about the shrinking Arctic glaciers filmed by James Balog, acclaimed environmental photographer and one-time climate sceptic.

He deploys revolutionary time-lapse cameras to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers.

His hauntingly beautiful footage compresses years into seconds and reveals ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.
