PHOTOS: Lanlivery Vintage Rally ploughs on despite heavy rain
LANLIVERY Vintage Rally has ploughed on this weekend as heavy rain fails to dampen spirits.
Organiser Diane Williams said the event is looking good, with new additions such as go karts and laser tag taking place alongside traditional pasttimes.
After downpours swept the county last night, Mrs Williams said the sun is now shining on the farm this morning.
"Lots of people are starting to arrive," she said. "I'm sat here and there are lots of people walking around.

"We had loads of rain last night but people are still coming in - it's all go now.
"Luckily we had set up in advance so everything was prepared. The rain hasn't caused any problems."
Mrs Williams noted a number of shows, stalls, activities and demonstrations were beginning to get under way.
"The old fashioned thrashers are just starting work on the corn," she explained. "We'll have fresh bread by the afternoon - people get to see the whole process."
The rally was started 28 years ago and this year spans 30 acres. It supports a number of charities such as the local church, FAB and the Merlin MS Centre.
