SENIOR CUP: Launceston and St Dennis to try again on Saturday
The ill-fated Cornwall Senior Cup tie between Launceston and St Dennis has been postponed for the seventh time.
Following heavy overnight rain on Monday, today's lunchtime inspection of Launceston's Pennygillam pitch was a formaility with the playing surface waterlogged.
Plans had been put in place to switch the tie to an artificial surface at Newquay Tretherras School on Wednesday night (7.30) but officials discovered that that venue had been double-booked.
The match has now been switched back to St Dennis on Saturday. If Boscawen Park is deemed unfit, the teams will try to play at Launceston's Pennygillam on Saturday afternoon.
