Paul's excited at Eden Project chef date
Although their content is certainly a little less scary, there's no denying that these eggs do have something a little bit 'T-Rex' about them.
At least those were the thoughts of celebrity chef Paul Ainsworth as he cooked one of his all-time favourites to promote Celebrity Chef Week at the Eden Project.
The chef, who runs Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 in Padstow, is one of a number of top chefs appearing during the week at the world-famous biomes. On September 8 he will be cooking one of his top dishes, smoked haddock scotch eggs with coronation mayonnaise and black pudding.
The chef, who has appeared on TV favourite Great British Menu, said he is incredibly excited. "I feel like such a young boy again at Eden when you see giant plants that are bigger than you. You go through the biggest doors I've ever seen in my life. It's absolutely amazing. It all reminds me of Jurassic Park. Fittingly, my scotch egg looks like a baby T-Rex egg."
