Pensioner arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of his wife
A PENSIONER found with his wife with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning on Wednesday morning near Penzance has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The couple, aged 85 and 86, were discovered by their carer at their house in Catchall just before 8am.

They appeared to be suffering from the effects of breathing in fumes, emergency crews said.
They were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske in Truro where both were said to be in a stable condition.
But yesterday morning the 85-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He has been released on bail until December while his wife is still being treated at the hospital.
